Importance and uses of water locally and globally
Most of the uses of water that is being used globally and locally is for the drinking of water, coking, bathing, cleaning and for some family's water their plants and food pots. One of the biggest uses of water is for producing crops and food as well as fibre and feeding the animals for their food. Worldwide industry uses about twice as much as water than households mostly for cooling in the production of electricity.
Water as a renewable resource.
Water is a renewable resource because because we can't run out of water because it's continuously working through the water cycle. A renewable is any natural resource that replaces itself giving enough time. The rate of water to fill up again must be equal to or faster than the rate of usage. As water continuously evaporates from the earths surface if collects it in the atmosphere and then comes back down from the rain . The main reason is from the water cycle the water cycle is a cycle when water evaporates and then cause it to rain of snow then causes it to sink down to the ground as underground water and then the water runs off back to oceans, lakes, dams etc. The picture bellow is a picture of the water cycle. With careful responsibilities and actions water is a renewable resource.
Water as a non-renewable resource.
Water can be seen as a renewable resource and as a non-renewable resource. One of the main resons why water is a non- renewable resource is beacasue of the population growth. A non-renewable resource is a resource that is from the earth that exits in limit supply and can't be replaced if use up or takes a long time to come again. The population keeps on expanding that it's putting enormous pressure on some renewable resources like WARER. As people keep on using water our ground water and surface water are being used up. The water is being used up faster than it can provide itself and this is leading up to water shortage. People all around the world are using water more and more and getting water from underground and all the water is being taken out of the ground. The bad thing is it takes a long time for the water to reduce underground due to it taking a long time that is why it is considered to be a non-renewable resource. In the picture bellow you can see that the ground water is still there but once it is all taken out it takes a long time for it to reduce again.
